destination de Beni/Kivu; passage par Blantyre/Nyassaland le 10 octobre, Elisabethville le 21 octobre &
Irumu le 24 octobre. Elle repartit d'Irumu le 1 novembre vers Lubero puis Kasindi.

Dans le cas de cette lettre, on l’attribue au 10th CCS car elle porte le numéro de censure militaire 337,
qu’elle est à destination d’un indigène du Congo Belge (et donc très probablement écrite par un indigène du
Congo Belge). En ce qui concerne la localisation, le numéro de l’APO étant illisible, on prend en compte la
date de départ et selon A. Jeukens, l’hôpital de campagne se situe en Somalie. L’APO est probablement le
N°2 basé à Nairobi / Kenya.

In the case of this cover, it is attributed to the 10th CCS because it bears the military censorship number 337
and is addressed to a native of the Belgian Congo (and therefore most probably written by a native of the
Belgian Congo). With regard to location, as the APO number is illegible, the date of departure is taken into
account and according to A. Jeukens, the field hospital is located in Somalia. The APO is probably N°2
based in Nairobi / Kenya.
