Viking Swimmers Placed 5th in STATE
From
Viewmont's swimming team of ten sophomores, four juniors, and six seniors nine boys qualified to go to state. Three of these
didn't make the finals, and with only six swimmers, Richard Haggin, Randy Allen, Bruce Johnson, John Everton, Monte Aller,
and Kim Johnson, they were able to place fifth in state. Bruce Johnson lost State Championship by only .05 points.
