Throughout my trainee journey I was exposed to a 
multitude of different transactions, cases and clients. 
I can say with certainty that FOD provides the best 
training a trainee could hope for and provides you 
with all the necessary tools to start your journey 
as a NQ. I had (and still have) direct access to the 
partners and senior associates I work with, and also to 
partners, senior associates and solicitors within other 
teams. Everyone is always happy to help and answer 
questions. As part of my traineeship I was encouraged 
to take the initiative and to provide my insight in 
any given case I had been working on. The training 
received in FOD genuinely prepared me to start my 
career as a solicitor with confidence and a positive 
attitude. 
 
I have always felt welcomed and respected by the 
people in FOD. There is an atmosphere of comradery, 
friendliness, support and genuine care in the firm.   
 
Having gone through the PPC Hybrid route, I can say 
with certainty that the firm was always mindful of the 
time I needed to focus on Blackhall and supported me 
throughout my Hybrid PPC journey immensely. To me, 
this was a reflection of the commitment of the firm to 
provide the highest standard of training and also a 
reflection of how much the firm values its trainees.
