Jim is a 25-year veteran of the
entertainment industry, having worked on numerous stage shows,
theatrical productions, and live music events. For over 12 years, Jim
has made his focus production sound mixing for film & television,
offering his considerable knowledge of audio engineering to feature
film productions, tv series, corporate videos, commercials, and more.
Jim holds a Bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre from Palm Beach
Atlantic University, and a Master's degree in Sound Design from the
Savannah College of Art & Design.
The background in live events and live sound
mixing has developed the skills to always "get it right the first time"
because in live theatre, you can't stop and ask for a second take when
something happens. You have to anticipate problems and fix everything
before you ever begin.
