Exodus 27

The Altar of Burnt Offerings

(1) "You shall make an altar of acacia wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be four square, and the height of it shall be three cubits.

(2) And you shall make horns for it on the four corners; its horns shall be of the same piece of wood; and you shall overlay it with brass.

(3) You shall make its pans to receive its ashes, and its shovels, and its basons, and its fork, and its firepans; all the vessels of it you shall make of brass.

(4) And you shall make a grate for it, a network of brass; and on the net you shall make four bronze rings in the four corners of it.

(5) You shall put it under the rim of the altar beneath, so that the net may be at the middle of the altar.

(6) And you shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with brass.

(7) The poles shall be put into the rings, and the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar, to bear it.

(8) You shall you make it hollow with boards; as it was shown you on the mountain, so shall they make it.

The Court of the Tabernacle

(9) You shall make the court of the tabernacle; for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen a 100 cubits long for one side.

(10) And the 20 pillars of it and their 20 sockets shall be made of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be made of silver.

(11) Likewise for the length of the north side there shall be hangings 100 cubits long, and its 20 pillars and their 20 sockets made of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets made of silver.

(12) For the breadth of the court on the west side shall be hangings of 50 cubits, with 10 pillars and 10 sockets.

(13) And the breadth of the court on the east side eastward shall be 50 cubits.

(14) The hangings on one side of the gate shall be 15 cubits, with three pillars, and three sockets.

(15) And on the other side shall be hangings of 15 cubits, with three pillars, and three sockets.

(16) For the gate of the court there shall be a hanging of 20 cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, made with needlework, and shall have four pillars, and four sockets.

(17) All the pillars round about the court shall be bound with rods of silver; their hooks shall be of silver, and their sockets of brass.

The Size of the Court

(18) The length of the court shall be 100 cubits, and the breadth 50 cubits everywhere, and the height five cubits made of fine twined linen, and their sockets made of brass.

(19) All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service of it, and all the pins of it, and all the pins of the court, shall be made of brass.

The Oil for the Lamps

(20) And you shall command the children of Israel, that they bring you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continuity.

(21) In the tabernacle of the congregation outside the veil, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the LORD; it shall be a statute forever to their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.
