Exodus 25

Offerings for the Tabernacle

(1) The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

(2) "Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering. From every man who gives it willingly with his heart YOU shall take my offering.

(3) And this is the offering which YOU shall take from them: gold, silver, and brass,

(4) blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine linen, and goats' hair,

(5) rams' skins dyed red, badgers' skins, and acacia wood,

(6) oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,

(7) onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.

(8) And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.

(9) According to all that I show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the furnishings in it, so YOU shall make it.

Ark of the Covenant

(10) And they shall make an ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits shall be the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it.

(11) You shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and outside you shall overlay it, and you shall make on it a border of gold around it.

(12) And you shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them on the four corners of it; and two rings shall be on one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.

(13) You shall make poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.

(14) And you shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, that the ark may be carried with them.

(15) The poles shall be in the rings of the ark; they shall not be taken from it.

(16) And you shall put into the ark the testimony which I shall give you.

Mercy Seat With Cherubims

(17) You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it.

(18) And you shall make two cherubim of gold, of beaten work you shall make them, on the two ends of the mercy seat.

(19) Make one cherub on one end, and the other cherub on the other end; YOU shall make the cherubim on the two ends of the mercy seat.

(20) And the cherubim shall stretch forth their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat so shall the faces of the cherubim be.

(21) You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark; and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you.

(22) There I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the testimony, of all things that I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.

Table of Showbread

(23) You shall also make a table of acacia wood, the length of it shall be two cubits, and the breadth of it shall be a cubit, and the height of it shall be a cubit and a half.

(24) And you shall overlay it with pure gold, and make a border of gold around it.

(25) You shall make on it a rim the breadth of a hand around it, and you shall make a golden border for the rim around it.

(26) And you shall make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet of it.

(27) The rings shall be close to the border as places for the poles to bear the table.

(28) You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be carried with them.

(29) And you shall make its dishes, its spoons, and its covers, and its bowls, to cover them; you shall make them of pure gold.

(30) You shall set on the table showbread before me always.

Golden Lampstand

(31) And you shall make a candlestick of pure gold; the candlestick shall be made of hammered work; its shaft, and its branches, its bowls, its knobs, and its flowers, shall be of the same piece.

(32) Six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side.

(33) Three bowls made like almonds, with a knob and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knob and a flower; so are the six branches that come out of the candlestick.

(34) And on the candlestick shall be four bowls made like almonds, with its knobs and its flowers.

(35) And there shall be a knob under the first two branches of the same piece, and a knob under the second two branches of the same piece, and a knob under the third two branches of the same piece, according to the six branches that comes out of the candlestick.

(36) Their knobs and their branches shall be of the same piece; all of it shall be one hammered work of pure gold.

(37) And you shall make the seven lamps for it; and they shall light the lamps of it, that they may give light in front of it.

(38) The tongs, and the snuffdishes, shall be of pure gold.

(39) He shall make it from a talent of pure gold, with all these vessels.
