Jimmy Clanfield comes from the outskirts of Portsmouth on the UK South Coast, resided in London from the millennium and has now settled south of Bristol.

His musical background is in studio based production, recording, mixing, live sound and DJing. He also tutors in music and digital arts and has set up and run a range of community studios spanning 15 years in youth centres around London. He works from a home studio on his own projects with singers and other musicians.

He has releases and remixes out on Merecumbe Recordings, Soulful Horizons Music, Wallshaker Music, Blu Lace Music, Sneja Recordings, For Those That Knoe, Sprungcartellwachs and Dogmatik Records, additionally his mix engineering has featured on releases for Rebirth and Defected. He co-hosted The Descendance Mixshow with Alison Marks on DHP Radio and is half of Mixed Message Music with DaMs on Drums Radio.
