Quick Guide to Practising Spelling

1. Type the word into the text box.

2. Press Enter.

3. If the spelling is correct, the next word will appear. If it is incorrect, you will see the correct spelling. You may copy it, or press Enter again to try typing it from memory.

4. If you get stuck for any reason, you can skip a word by pressing the TAB key.

5. All misspelt words are automatically recorded. You can view and print them after completing all 20 words in the lesson.

6. For learners who are hard of hearing, a transcription is available to support spelling practice. You can switch it on or off at any time.

7. When starting a new lesson, remember to reset your progress so that misspelt words from the previous lesson are cleared.
