San Francisco is a congested busy town so it is difficult to find park-
ing places. If you are staying in the suburbs then it will be prudent
to take the BART to any of the San Francisco’s many BART Stations.
If you are a first time visitor then after getting into the town hop into
a Big Bus which takes you around the main locations in town. You
can get down at designated spots walk around to sight and the
again hop on to the Big Bus for the next destination. I found this
very convenient.
You may also like to experience the legacy trams which still run in
this city albeit as a tourist attraction.
