About the Author
When Prashant Gupta hung up his military boots in March 2008 he took to nature and nature
photography. He loves nature and being one with it. Photography is what really keeps the
former army officer ticking. He loves to take off on weekends with his camera and capture the
endless moods of nature and landscapes.
Birds fascinate him and he loves photographing them. He travels around the country
exploring bird and wildlife sancturies and to capture images of different species of birds. He
also loves photgraphing people and places when travelling.
He is a self taught photography and birding entusiast and believes that photography can be
self taught and there really is no need to attend formal classes or workshops.
This Photo-Book about temples at Belur and Halebidu in Karnataka, India is his endeavour
to share knowledge with others on the inspiring artistry found in these temples.
