Visiting Ross Island. Ross Island is located very near to Port Blair and thus
can be easily reached within few minutes. Regular ferries connect the island
with Port Blair Marine Park.
The island was the headquarter of the British colony in A&N. On visiting the
island, one can understand the reasons why British chose Ross Island as their
head quarter. The place gives picturesque views from all around.
The scenery of Ross island is mesmerizing. This island is a major attraction
for history buffs.There is a sanctuary which has a decent collection of animals.
Mostly, it is good for a quaint walk and silent musings. Other than just spend
some quality peaceful time with your loved one the island serves a great place
for a hike.
Light and sound show at Ross Island is an amazing event. You must book
your tickets well in advance.
On arrival at Ross Island you are bound to be greeted by herd of spotted deer
which will pester you for food.
