Agra Fort is another marvel of Mughal Architecture. There
is plenty to photograph here. Do make use of the magnificient
arches to frame your photos.
Including people in your images will make them come alive
and also provide a sense of scale. Do make use of the door
ways to make some interesting backlit photos.
Using wide angle lens will be of help. I normally use 12-40mm
wide angle zoom mounted on my Olympus OMD EM5 MK II.
Do some research before coming to the fort. Find out the im-
portant segments which must be visited. Google for photos
taken of this place by other photographers. This will give you
an idea for what to look for. Plan your photo session well in
advance to get the best out of your visit.
Shoot in RAW so that you can recover details from the shad-
ows during post processing.
Do make it a point to take photos of the Taj from here, these
make interesting images.
Look around the fort for small detail. Once you open your eyes
you’ll be surprised at the stone carvings present on the exterior
and interior walls. Get close to fill the frame with detail. These
shapes usually appear around doorways, above windows and
on the line of the roof just below or on the gutter level.
