KJV-Only people are known to prepare long lists of problem versus to show how Bibles, other than the KJV, are frauds, counterfeits or are flawed. Links to some of their source articles are at the bottom of the page.

Here is a list of several hundred of the versus I extracted from the above-mentioned KJV-Only articles, along with, how the KJVu presents the verse (my comments are in green):

THEEs, THOUs, YEs, etc.

These are the most attacked portion of the KJB, but they’re actually very important. In the Hebrew & Greek, there was a singular and a plural form for “you” and “your.” Whereas in the English, we only have 1 word for both. The basic rule is if it starts with a: “TH”, like THEE, THY, or THOU, then it’s singular. If it begins with a “Y”, like You, Your, or Ye, then it’s plural.

KJVu address his with using all caps for the plural form of the word. For example: Thou and thou = You or you, while Ye = YOU. Simple solution still very readable. Consider these verses:

Exo. 16:28: KJV: "And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?" NKJV:"And the LORD said to Moses, 'How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws?'" KJVu: "And the LORD said unto Moses, 'How long do YOU refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?'"

[In the NKJV] It looks like God is saying, "Moses, you are continuing to refuse to keep My commandments and My laws." But look carefully at the accurate King James [and KJVu].

JOHN 3:7 KJV: “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” NKJV: “Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'” KJVu: “Do not marvel that I said to you, 'YOU must be born again.'”

Once you know the code, the KJVu is just as clear as the KJV. Albeit, one short-coming is when you are reading aloud to people not following along in their Bible you must read "YOU" as "everyone" or "all of you".

Questioned Verses

The following 45 entire verses are questioned in the margin of the NKJV on the basis of the unreliable United Bible Societies text:

Matthew 17:21; 18:11; 21:4; 23:14; 24:6
Mark 7:16; 9:44; 9:46; 11:26; 15:28; 19:9-20
Luke 17:36; 22:43; 22:44; 23:17
John 5:4; 7:53-8:11
Acts 8:37; 15:34; 24:7; 28:29
Romans 16:24
1 John 5:7, 8

PORTIONS OF 95 OTHER VERSES ARE QUESTIONED IN THE MARGIN OF THE NKJV ON THE BASIS OF THE UNITED BIBLE SOCIETIES TEXT

NO verses are questioned in the KJVu.

Removal of the Word Hell

This is one of the strangest changes that have been made in the NKJV. In 11 different verses, the NKJV replaces the word “hell” with the word “hades,” as follows:

Mat. 5:22 — hell fire (gehenna)
Mat. 5:29 — hell (gehenna)
Mat. 5:30 — hell (gehenna)
Mat. 10:28 — hell (gehenna)
Mat. 11:23 — Hades
Mat. 16:18 — Hades
Mat. 18:9 — hell fire (gehenna)
Mat. 23:15 — hell (gehenna)
Mat. 23:33 — hell (gehenna)
Mk. 9:43, 45, 47 — hell (gehenna)
Lk. 10:15 — Hades
Lk. 12:5 — hell (gehenna)
Lk. 16:23 — Hades
Acts 2:27 — Hades
Acts 2:31 — Hades
1 Cor. 15:55 — Hades
James 3:6 — hell (gehenna)
2 Pet. 2:4 — hell (tartaroo)
Rev. 1:18 — Hades
Rev. 6:8 — Hades
Rev. 20:13 — Hades
Rev. 20:14 — Hades

NONE of these were changed in the in the KJVu. All still read as "hell."

Genesis

Gen. 1:1 – The NKJV changed “heaven” to “heavens.” There were not “heavens” (Gen. 2:1) until after the six days of Gen. 1:3-31. "Heaven" still in KJVu.

Gen. 2:18 – The NKJV changed “help meet for him” to “helper comparable to him.” I am sure the women libbers like that translation! It waters down the distinction of the roles God designed for husband and wife. KJVu uses "help mate" which is more clearly understood than "help meet."

Genesis 22:8 - The counterfeits change ". . . My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering:. . ." to distort the prophesy that God would become the Lamb. The counterfeits read as, "God will provide for Himself the lamb. . ." or "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering". The fulfillment of Genesis 22:8 is found in John 1:29. KJVu is identical to the KJV "My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering."

Gen. 35:4 - The NKJV is supposed to be easier to understand than the KJB. So, why does it change “oak” to “terebinth trees” "Oak" still in KJVu.

Matthew

Mat. 1:25 - Removed "Firstborn" "Firstborn" still in KJVu.

Mat. 5:22 - NU omits “without a cause” "without a cause" still in KJVu.

Mat. 5:27 - NU omits “to those of old” KJVu uses "by them of old" exactly like the KJV. The phrase “to those of old” does not occur in the KJV, while "by them of old" occurs three times Mat. 5:21, Mat. 5:27 and Mat. 5:33. I assume it was meant that NU omits "by them of old."

Mat. 5:44 - REM 12 WORDS "bless them that curse you…" Just like the KJV "bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you," still in KJVu.

Mat. 6:13 - NU omits “For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” "KJVu uses "For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.", updating "thine" to "yours."

Mat. 6:27 - CHG "cubit to his stature" TO "hour to his life" et. al. "cubit to his stature" still in KJVu.

Mat. 6:33 - REM "of God" "of God" still in KJVu.

Mat. 7:14 NKJV "difficult is the way” instead of KJV “narrow is the way.” "KJVu. uses “narrow is the way.”

Mat. 8:29 REM "Jesus" "Jesus" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 15:8 REM "draweth nigh unto me with their mouth" "draw near to me with their mouth, and" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 16:3 REM "o ye hypocrites" "O YOU hypocrites" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 16:18 REM hell "Hell" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 16:20 REM "Jesus" "Jesus" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 17:21 REM ENTIRE VERSE Entire verse still in the KJVu.

Matt. 18:11 REM ENTIRE VERSE (key verse) Entire verse still in the KJVu.

Matt. 18:26 REM and worshipped him (for Jesus) "and worshipped him" still in the KJVu.

18:29 NU omits “at his feet” "at his feet" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 19:9 REM LAST 11 WORDS "and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery." KJVu has "and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery."

Matt. 19:17 CHG "Why callest thou me good" TO "Why do you ask me about what is good" KJVu has "Why do you call me good?"

Matt. 19:17 REM "God" "God" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 19:20 NU omits “from my youth” "from my youth" still in the KJVu.

Mat. 20:2 The NKJV is supposed to be easier to understand than the KJB. So, why does it change “a penny” to “a denarius” "a penny" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 20:7 REM "and whatsoever is right that shall ye receive" "and whatever is right, YOU shall receive" still in the KJVu.

Mat. 20:16 NU omits “For many are called, but few chosen” "for many are called, but few chosen" still in the KJVu.

Mat. 20:20 CHG "worshipping him" TO "kneeling down"
Many counterfeits remove the words "worshipping him" and rob worship from the Lord Jesus Christ. Some will replace "worshipping him" with "kneeling down" or "kneeling before", but just simply "kneeling" is not worship. "worshipping him" still in the KJVu.

Mat. 20:22 NU omits “and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with” "and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with" still in the KJVu.

Mat. 20:23 NU omits “and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with” "and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with" still in the KJVu.

Mat. 21:44 REM ENTIRE VERSE Entire verse still in the KJVu.

22:13 NU omits “take him away, and” "take him away, and" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 22:32 Some versions change "God" to "He" "KJVu does not change "God" to "He."

23:3 NU omits “to observe” "to observe" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 23:14 REM ENTIRE VERSE Entire verse still in the KJVu.

Matt. 23:33 CHG damnation TO condemn, et. al. "Damnation" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 24:36 ADD "nor the Son" Not added in the KJVu - same as KJV.

Matt. 24:36 CHG "my Father" TO "the Father" "My Father" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 25:13 REM "wherein the Son of man cometh" "Wherein the Son of man cometh" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 26:7 - The NKJV is supposed to be easier to understand than the KJB. So, why does it change "box" to "flask" "Box" still in the KJVu.

Matt. 26:28 - Many counterfeits replace the phrase "new testament" with the generic phrase "new agreement" or "new covenant". This is an obvious attack on the written Word of God. It’s interesting, even though the counterfeits remove the phrase "new testament", they do not title their New Testaments as "New Agreement" or "New Covenant". Why? The counterfeiters know they could not sell their counterfeit bearing the title "New Agreement" or "New Covenant" on the cover, so like any good counterfeiter, they disguise it. "New Testament" still in the KJVu.

26:60 NU omits “false witnesses”

27:35 NU omits “that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: They divided My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots.”

Matt. 27:35 REM LAST 25 WORDS

Matt. 27:54 CHG "the Son of God" TO "a son of God"

Matt. 28:2 REM "from the door"

Matt. 28:9 REM "And as they went to tell his disciples"

NIV Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

NOT VIRTUE BUT POWER

That "obsolete" word "virtue" is replaced with "power" in Mark 5:30, Luke 6:19, 8:46. How does anybody confuse "virtue" with "power"? Simple - by being "bosom-buddies" with the NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV, NKJV! That’s what they did!

Mark 5:30

KJB And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? MKJV And knowing instantly within Himself that power had gone out of Him, Jesus turned Himself around in the press and said, Who touched My clothes?

NIV At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"

Only 4 or 5 very late mss. contain these words in Greek.” This footnote does not present the truth about this text. The Trinitarian statement is found in roughly 20 Greek manuscripts. Further, it is found in the vast majority of the Latin manuscripts. It has also been in the Waldensian Bibles (the Italic, the Romaunt, and the Tepl, for example) throughout the church age, and it has been in the English Bible for 620 years. This is a crucial point, for it is through the Bible believing churches and through the process of the Great Commission that God has preserved the Scriptures in this age (Mat. 28:19-20; 2 Tim. 2:2).

REVELATION

The NKJV is supposed to be easier to understand than the KJB. So, why does it change

“sun was up” (Judg. 8:13) to “Ascent of Heres”
“tree” (1 Sam. 22:6) to “tamarish tree”
“fatherless” (Lam. 5:3) to “waifs”
“princes” (Dan. 6:2) to “satraps”
“deputy” (Acts 18:12) to “proconsul”
“thousands” (Acts 21:20) to “myriads”
“riot” (Titus 1:6) to “dissipation”
“unruly” (Titus 1:6) to “insubordination”

SCRIPTURE KJV NKJV
Ezra 31:4 little rivers rivulets
Psalms 43:1 Judge Vindicate
Psalms 139:23 thoughts anxieties
Amos 5:21 smell savor
Luke 8:31 the deep the abyss
John 10:41 did performed
Luke 19:11-27 pounds minas
John 19:9 judgement hall Praetorium
Acts 1:18 bowels entrails
Acts 18:12 deputy proconsul
Acts 21:38 uproar insurrection
Acts 27:30 boat skiff
Hebrews 12:8 bastard illegitimate

Here are some of the sweeping changes that NKJV made:

Hell is removed 22 times.
Blood is removed 23 times
Repent is removed 44 times
Heaven is removed 50 times
God is removed 50 times
Lord is removed 66 times
The words “damn” & “damned” & “damnation” are COMPLETELY removed from the NKJV.

Acts 17:22 – The NKJV changed “too superstitious” to “very religious.” In the context Paul was rebuking the men of Athens for being so given over to idolatry that they made an altar with an inscription, “TO THE UNKNOWN GOD” just in case they missed one. The NKJV waters down the rebuke to the point they could have taken it as a compliment!

Rom. 1:18 – The NKJV changed “hold the truth in unrighteousness” to “suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” God’s wrath is revealed against those who POSSESS the truth and yet choose unrighteousness. Saying it is only revealed against those who SUPPRESS the truth limits God’s wrath to falling on those who actively fight against the truth.

Rom. 1:25 – The NKJV changed “Who changed the truth of God into a lie” to “who exchanged the truth of God for the lie.” Personally changing the truth into a lie is a more serious offense than exchanging it for a lie that was made by someone else.

1 Cor. 1:18 – The NKJV changed “the preaching of the cross” to “the message of the cross” and us which are saved” to “us who are being saved.”

1 Cor. 1:21 – The NKJV changed “the foolishness of preaching” to “the foolishness of the message preached.” The unbelievers may think the cross is foolishness, but the NKJV has Paul calling it foolishness in this verse! Paul is not referring to the message of the cross in this verse, but to the act of preaching.

2 Cor. 2:17 – The NKJV changed “corrupt the word of God” to “peddling the word of God.” Both are wrong things to do but corrupting the word of God is worse than peddling it. The modern versions are guilty of BOTH.

1 Thess. 5:22 – The NKJV changed “Abstain from all appearance of evil” to “Abstain from every form of evil” which is a LOWER standard.

1 Tim. 6:10 – The NKJV changed “the love of money is the root of all evil” to “the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.” The love of money is covetousness. Evil began in the universe with the fall of Lucifer. Both “merchandise” and “traffick” are mentioned in connection with his fall (Ezek. 28:16, 18). Also, the context of 1 Tim. 6:10 is false teachers who are typically motivated by the love of money.

1 Jn. 3:16 – The NKJV changed “Hereby we perceive the love of God, because he laid down his life for us” to “By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.” The KJB clearly says that it was God who laid down His life for us. Therefore, Jesus Christ is God. The NKJV is not as clear.

DUMPING THE HOLY GHOST

"Holy Ghost" is "dumped" 88 times in the MKJV (For some strange reason, it appears ONE time in Acts 10:47?).

DUMPING THE DAMNED

The MKJV "dumps" the key word "damn" (damned, damnation etc.) for the NIV, REV, NRSV, NASV, NKJV and boys diluted "condemn". Obviously, "condemned" is not as serious as "damned". Damned is eternal! One can be "condemned" and not "damned". Romans 14:22 says, ". . . Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth." Webster defines "condemned": to declare to be wrong, but the much more serious and eternal "damn": "to condemn to hell".

NO MO DEVILS

Like the NIV, NRVS, NKJV and the legion of Per-Versions, the MKJV removes "devils" from the New Testament and replaces with the New Age "demons." And like it’s buddies the NIV, RSV, NRSV, NASV,NKJV and crew, the MKJV replaces "devils" with the "transliterated" Greek word "demon", A demon and a devil are not necessarily the same. The Theosophical Dictionary describes demon as: ". . . it has a meaning identical with that of 'god', 'angel' or 'genius'". Even Vines Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words (p.157) defines "demon" as: "an inferior deity, WHETHER GOOD OR BAD". Webster defines "demon" as: "divinity, spirit, an attendant power or spirit", but "devil" as: "the personal supreme spirit of EVIL. . ."

THE MYTHICAL HADES

Like the NIV, RSV, NRSV, NASV,NKJV and friends the MKJV replaces "hell" for the transliterated "hades" in Acts 2:27, 31. Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary defines Hades: "the underground abode of the dead in Greek MYTHOLOGY". The MKJV turns your Bible into MYTHOLOGY.

Act 2:31

KJV He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. MKJV seeing this beforehand, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor would His flesh see corruption,

NRSV Foreseeing this, David spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, saying, 'He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh experience corruption.'

SHEOL

Agan, the MKJV borrows more fodder from the "boys" by replacing "pit", "grave", "hell" with the transliterated Hebrew word Sheol. Why does anyone replace plain English with a vague Hebrew in an English Bible? Nothing but confusion emerges (see 1 Cor. 14:33). The word Sheol occurs 65 times in the Hebrew text, but for some confusing reason, the MKJV refuses to translate it 5 times. Obviously, integrity of translation is not a characteristic of the MKJV. To add insult to the inconsistency and lack of translaton integrity, the NKJV has Sheol 18 times, NRSV 65, Living Bible 5 and NASV 67. Total translation lunacy. . .

Numbers 16:33 (see also 1 Samuel 2:6, Psalm 139:8, Jonah 2:2 and Habakkuk 2:5

KJB They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

MKJV They and all that they had went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed upon them. And they perished from among the congregation.

NRSV So they with all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol; the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.

TARTARUS

Another bizarre display of translation lunacy and confusion in the MKJV occurs in 2 Peter 2:4. Green replaces the word "hell" with the Greek word "Tartarus". That should can the silly excuse for the archaic, hard-to-understand King James Bible. Does anyone really believe "tartarus" is easier to understand than "hell"? By the way, did you notice how many times the MKJV removes the word hell? Hell ranks among the Per-Versions greatest disappearing act. For instance, the NKJV removes hell 22 times, NASV 41, NRSV 41, RSV 41, NIV 40 and the NCV 39. Seems someone has a personal interested in removing the place of hell. Hmmm. .. Wonder who it could be?

Interesting, the MKJV was the only version I could find that was foolish enough to change the word "hell" to "Tartarus". "Tartarus" ranks high in the mythology, new age world. The on-line encyclopedia Witkipedia says of Tartarus, "Tartarus in Greek mythology, Tartarus is both a deity and a place in the underworld even lower than Hades." Anyone still believe the Modern King James Bible is faithful to the "old" King James Bible?

2 Peter 2:4

KJB For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; MKJV For if God did not spare sinning angels, but thrust them down into Tartarus, and delivered them into chains of darkness, being reserved to judgment.

THE DARKNESS COMPREHENDED IT NOT

John 1:5

KJB And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. MKJV And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.

NRSV the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

SPIRIT WORSHIP

The MKJV in John 4:24 removes the object to worship - "him" to produce a New Age vague "spirit" worship.

John 4:24

KJB God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. MKJV God is a spirit, and they who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.

NIV God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

GOD THE SLAVEOWNER?

In the MJKV Christians are not "servants" of the Lord, but "slaves"!

The MKJV in Romans 6:22, reads: "But now, being made free from sin, and having become slaves to God. . ." The MKJV, in 1 Corinthians 7:22, calls the Christian, "a slave of Christ". Talk about a contradiction! Why aren’t Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton boycotting and protesting the pro-slavery MKJV? John 8:36 says, "If the Son therefore shall make you FREE, YE SHALL BE FREE INDEED." But isn’t a Christian supposed to serve? Yes, in love. Not as a slave! Galatians 5:13 explains it, perfectly: "For, brethren, ye have been called unto LIBERTY;(not slavery!) only use not LIBERTY for an occasion to the flesh, but BY LOVE SERVE one another." A few examples of "slaves" in the MKJV:

Romans 6:22

KJB But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. MKJV But now, being made free from sin, and having become slaves to God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life.

NIV But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

Act 2:18

KJB And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: MKJV And in those days I will pour out My Spirit upon My slaves and My slave women, and they shall prophesy.

NRSV Even upon my slaves, both men and women, in those days I will pour out my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.

Romans 6:16

KJB Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? MKJV Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to him whom you obey; whether it is of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness.

NIV Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

BIBLE CORRUPTERS BEWARE

Like all good Bible "corrupters," the MJKV must cover his tracks. So something must be done with 2 Corinthians 2:17 where the Lord warns of those that "corrupt the word of God". The MKJV wins the award for the goofiest translation of 2 Corinthians 2:17. Green changes "corrupt" to the goofy "hawking"! Is this the same guy that complained that the King James was hard to read and full of archaic words?

2 Corinthians 2:17

KJB For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. MKJV For we are not as many, hawking the Word of God; but as of sincerity, but as of God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.

NIV Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God.

THE GLORIOUS APPEARING DISAPPEARS

A little funky, mishandling of Titus 2:13 and the MKJV turns the promise of the glorious appearing of the second coming of Jesus Christ into a neuter "appearance of the glory". I’ve been in many wonderful church services that were filled with the "appearance of the glory of our great God" but never the "glorious appearing". The change removes the "glorious" appearing of the person of Jesus Christ for simply the essence of "glory". What a shame. . .

Titus 2:13

KJB Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; MKJV looking for the blessed hope, and the appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

NRSV while we wait for the blessed hope and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Interesting, in Titus 2:13, the MKJV surpassed the corruption of the NIV, NASV, NKJV, RSV, et al. for they all kept the text "glorious appearing". It took the ultra-liberal NRSV to agree with the MKJV in Titus 2:12!

EASTER ERASED

Like all good per-versions, the MKJV automatically changes "Easter" in Acts 12:4 to "Passover." The fact is Acts 12, could not possibly refer to the Passover, as the new Bibles falsely claim. Dr. Sam Gipp in his book The Answer Book, examines Acts 12:4. After several pages of irrefutable proof from the Word of God, Dr. Gipp writes:

Verse 3 shows that Peter was arrested during the days of unleavened bread (April 15-21). The Bible says: "Then were the days of unleavened bread." The passover (April 14th) had already come and gone. Herod could not possibly have been referring to the passover in his statement concerning Easter. The next Passover was a year away! But the pagan holiday of Easter was just a few days away. Remember! Herod was a pagan Roman who worshipped the "queen of heaven". He was NOT a Jew. He had no reason to keep the Jewish passover. (Gipp, Dr. Sam, The Answer Book)

Acts 12:4

KJB And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. MKJV And capturing him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four sets of four soldiers to keep him; intending to bring him out to the people after the Passover.

NIV After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover.

These have not yet been updated:

== Deuteronomy

Deuteronomy 23:17 which talks about not letting sodomites into the congregation, “sodomite” is changed to “ritual harlot”.

== Isaiah

Isaiah 14:12
Most counterfeits confuse the Lord Jesus Christ with Lucifer. They replace the word "Lucifer" with "morning star, day star, star of the morning". Morning star is a title reserved for the Lord Jesus in Revelation 22:16. This is also the only time the word "Lucifer" is found in the Word of God. In Isaiah 14:15 the counterfeits do not send Lucifer to "hell" but only to the confusing "Sheol", or the "grave".

Isaiah 28:1 NKJV changes "fat" to "verdant"

Isaiah 66:5
“Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at His word: “Your brethren who hated you, who cast you out for My name’s sake, said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy.’ But they shall be ashamed.” (Like the NIV, NASV, RSV and ASV, the Second Coming is wholly omitted from this scripture)

== Daniel

Daniel 3:25
One of the more blatant attacks at the Lord Jesus amongst the new versions occurs in the book of Daniel. The fourth person in the fire protecting Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is no longer like "the Son of God" as the King James Bible declares, but the pagan "like a son of the gods."

Luke 1:28 REM "blessed art thou among women"

Luke 2:14 CHG good will toward men TO to men on whom his favor rests" et al

Luke 2:22 CHG "her" TO "their" (makes Jesus a sinner)

Luke 2:33 CHG "Joseph" TO "his father" (attacks virgin birth)

Luke 2:43 CHG "Joseph and his mother" TO "parents"

Luke 4:4 REM "but by every word of God"
Many counterfeits remove the last half of Luke 4:4, ". . . but by every word of God" This is another assault on the Word of God. In Luke 4:4, the Lord Jesus Christ is quoting Deuteronomy 8:3. Do the counterfeiters believe the Lord Jesus does not know what Deuteronomy 8:3 says?

Luke 4:8 REM "get thee behind me, Satan"
Many counterfeits remove the words "get thee behind me, Satan". Here the Lord Jesus Christ openly rebukes Satan – but the counterfeits do not rebuke Satan.

Luke 4:18 REM 8 WORDS "he hath sent me to heal…"

Luke 11:2 REM 15 WORDS from Lords prayer

Luke 11:4 REM but deliver us from evil (Lord’s prayer)

Luke 11:29 REM "the prophet"

Luke 16:23 REM "hell"
Many counterfeits refuse to translate the Greek word "haides". Rather than translate "haides" to the word "hell", the counterfeit will transliterate the Greek word "haides" into the English "hades". By this trick the counterfeit attempts to extinguish the flames of hell. Hades is not "hell". Hell is flames, torments, weeping and wailing, complete darkness – forever. Hades is a new-age place of purification, or a fantasy place in Greek mythology. The Assyrian Hades is an abode of blessedness with silver skies called Happy Fields.

Acts 2:47 Many counterfeits change the completed act of "saved" to the working, in progress "being saved". With this change, the counterfeits deny the complete and finished salvation in the blood of Jesus Christ to a progressive, salvation by works. You are no longer "saved" but in the process of "being saved". See also in 1 Corinthian 1:18 and 2 Corinthians 2:15.

Acts 3:13,26 NKJV “His Servant Jesus” vs KJV “his Son Jesus”

Acts 3:26 NKJV "To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning every one of you away from his iniquities." In the KJV, we find that Jesus is God’s Son. In the NKJV, we find that He is God’s servant.

Acts 4:27,30 CHG "holy child" TO "holy servant" (attacks deity) Many counterfeits abort the Lord Jesus Christ as the Father’s "holy child" to His "holy servant". A subtle (see Genesis 3:1) and clever denial of the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. The counterfeits do this again in Acts 4:30.

Acts 7:37 REM "Him shall ye hear"

Some counterfeits completely remove this wonderful verse (and several others). Acts 8:37 is the Ethiopian eunuch getting saved. The counterfeits stop him from getting saved. Some counterfeits are a little more subtle. They do not remove the verse from the text, but will add a footnote questioning the verse and plant a seed of doubt. Sound familiar? "Yea, hath God said. . .?" Many counterfeits also remove: Matthew 17:21, 18:11, 23:14, Mark 7:16, 9:44, 9:46, Mark 11:26, 15:28, Luke 17:36, 23:17, John 5:4, Acts 8:37, 15:34, 24:7, 28:28, Romans 16:24 and 1 John 5:7!

Since the NKJV has "changed the truth of God into a lie", it has also changed Romans 1:25 to read "exchanged the truth of God for the lie". This reading matches the readings of the new perversions, so how say ye it’s a King James Bible?

Romans 1:29 REM "fornication"

The counterfeits describe my Father as a "slave owner" and His precious children as "slaves". Oh how contrary and wicked to the character of my loving and wonderful Heavenly Father! This is done many times in the counterfeits. It’s amazing because the first part of Romans 6:22 reads ". . . being made free from sin,. . ." and according to the counterfeits we now are slaves!

I Cor. 1:21 CHG "foolishness of preaching" TO "foolishness of the message preached"
Many counterfeits change ". . .the foolishness of preaching. . ." to the "foolishness of what was preached" or "foolishness of the message preached". The deceitful counterfeits change the object of "foolishness" from the act of "preaching" to the "message" of preaching – the gospel of the Lord Jesus. There’s nothing "foolish" about the "message" of Jesus Christ – it’s the greatest and most reasonable message in the history of the universe! 1 Corinthians 1:18, shines some eye-opening light on the counterfeiters. 1 Corinthians 1:18 says ". . . the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." It makes you wonder. . . are the publishers of these counterfeits saved?

I Cor. 1:22 REM "require" TO "request", ask (Jews require a sign according to Jesus Christ - John 4:48)

I Cor. 5:4 REM "Christ" (TWICE)

I Cor. 5:7 REM "for us" (Christ sacrificed)

I Cor. 6:9 CHG effeminate TO male prostitutes et al.

2 Cor. 2:17 CHG "corrupt" TO "peddle", sell (word of God)
The counterfeits change the word "corrupt the word of God" to "peddling (or selling) the word of God". An apparent attempt by the counterfeiters to hide the fact they are "corrupting the word of God". It won’t work. . . God knows what they are doing.

2 Cor.4:6 REM "Jesus"

2 Cor. 4:10 REM "the Lord"

2 Cor. 5:17 CHG "creature" TO "creation" - says that if any man is in Christ he is a new "creature", which matches the words of Christ in Mark 16:15

2 Cor. 5:18 REM "Jesus"

2 Cor.10:5 CHG "Casting down imaginations" TO "We demolish arguments" et al.
The counterfeits change "imaginations" to "arguments" or "obstacles" or "speculations". This change lines the counterfeit up with the new age religion, as the new age is built upon "imaging" and "imaginations". It also removes the spiritual identification to where sin begins – in our imaginations.
II Corinthians 10:5 the KJV reads "casting down imaginations", but the NKJV reads "casting down arguments". The word "thought", which occurs later in the verse, matches "imaginations", not "arguments". This change weakens the verse.

Colossians 1:2 REM "and the Lord Jesus Christ"

Colossians 1:14 REM "through His blood" (redemption through…)
Many counterfeits remove the phrase "through his blood". Salvation is only "through his blood". Without shedding of blood is no remission of sins (Hebrews 9:22)

Colossians 1:16
Again in Colossians 1:16, the KJB tells the world that Jesus Christ is Creator and "BY him were all things created". And again the MJKV muddles the clear scripture to negate the Creative power of Jesus Christ by replacing the simple word "BY" with "IN" and "THROUGH". This also rubs shoulders with the New Age teaching of a pantheistic "all in all" Christ. Simple. . . Slight. . . But Fatal.

Colossians 1:28 REM "Jesus"

Colossians 3:6 REM "on the children of disobedience"

1 Thess. 1:1 REM LAST 9 WORDS (from God our father…)

1 Thess. 2:19 REM "Christ"

1 Thess. 3:11 REM "Christ"

1 Thess. 3:13 REM "Christ"

1 Thess. 5:22 CHG "all appearance of evil" TO "every form of evil"
The counterfeits change "all appearance of evil" to "every form (or kind) of evil".

2 Thess. 1:8 REM "Christ"

2 Thess. 1:12 REM Christ

1 Timothy 1:1 REM Lord

1 Timothy 1:17 REM "wise" (the only wise God)

1 Timothy 2:7 REM "in Christ" (…the truth in Christ)

1 Timothy 3:16 CHG "God" TO "he" (God manifest in the flesh)
Many counterfeits change the crucial word "God" to the unmodified, vague pronoun "he". This is the clearest verse in the Bible stating that Jesus Christ was "God manifest in the flesh" and the counterfeits destroy it.

1 Timothy 4:12 REM "in spirit"

1 Timothy 5:21 REM Lord

1 Timothy 6:1 CHG blasphemed TO spoken against et al.

1 Timothy 6:5 CHG gain is godliness TO godliness is a means of gain et al.

1 Timothy 6:5 REM "from such withdraw thyself"

1 Timothy 6:10 CHG "root of all evil" TO "root of all kinds of evil"
The counterfeits add the words "kinds of". This addition dilutes the conclusive statement, ". . .the love of money is the root of all evil" to the subjective ". . .the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil".

1 Timothy 6:19 CHG "eternal life" TO "the life that is truly life"

1 Timothy 6:20 CHG "science" TO "knowledge"

2 Timothy 1:11 REM "of the gentiles"

2 Timothy 2:15 REM "study" (only command to study the word)
The counterfeits remove the word "study". The counterfeits do not want you to study your Bible. You might just find out they are mutilating it.

2 Timothy 3:3 CHG of those that are good TO good

2 Timothy 4:1 REM "the Lord"

2 Timothy 4:22 REM "Jesus Christ"

Titus 3:10 “Reject a divisive man” (NKJV like the NIV)

Hebrews 1:3 CHG "by himself purged our sins" TO "provided purification for sins"

Hebrews 2:7 REM LAST 10 WORDS (and didst set him over the works…)

HEBREWS 2:16
KJV - “For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham” (Hebrews 2:16).
NKJV - “For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham” (Hebrews 2:16).
This change weakens the doctrine of Christ. The Greek says nothing about giving aid to. The Greek word is epilambanomai, which means to lay hold of, to seize, to catch, to take.

Hebrews 3:1 REM "Christ Jesus" (High Priest of our…)

HEBREWS 3:16
KJV “For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.”
NKJV “For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses?”
This change in the NKJV creates an error in the Bible, because the Old Testament plainly teaches that not all of the Israelites rebelled and provoked God. The KJV is right in its teaching here and the NKJV is wrong.

Hebrews 4:8 The word "Jesus" is omitted from NKJV

Hebrews 7:21 REM "after the order of Melchisedec"

Hebrews 9:15 DUMPING THE NEW TESTAMENT
(see also Matthew 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20, 1 Cor. 11:25, 2 Cor. 3:6)

Jude 1:25 REM "wise" (Referring to God)

Revelation 1:5
Many counterfeits change the wonderful words "washed us from our sins in his own blood," to "loosed" or "freed" us from our sins. Revelation 1:5 is the only verse in the Bible that says you are washed in the blood – and the counterfeits destroy it. What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
