Matthew 6:1

KJV:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them : otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 6:19

Matthew 6:20

Matthew 6:21

Matthew 6:22

KJV:22 The light of the body is the eye : if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

Chose "sound" because it better described a functional, working eye free of defects.


Matthew 6:23

KJV:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Matthew 6:24

KJV:24 No man can serve two masters : for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Matthew 6:25

Matthew 6:32

KJV:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek :) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

KJV:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness ; and all these things shall be added unto you.
