Exodus 8:1

Exodus 8:2

Exodus 8:3

Notes:

  • "Glory Over" highlighted in the KJV verse is Strong’s H8286 with a Strong’s definition of "to beautify, glorify." In effect Moses is giving Pharaoh the honor of determing when Moses will pray or intercede for him. This is reflected in the Coverdale Bible of 1535 as "Moses sayde: Haue thou the honor before me, & appoynte me, wha I shal praye for ye," the KJVu followed a similar approach with "You have the honor of telling me when I shall pray for you…​"


Exodus 8:10

KJV:10 And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word : that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

Exodus 8:22

Exodus 8:26

Exodus 8:27
