Genesis 32:10

  • "Colt" highlighted in the KJV verse is Strong’s H1121 with a Strong’s definition of "b. of animals, בֶּןבָּֿקָר son of (the) herd, i.e. young one of the herd." According to Life Science and other sources, baby camels are called calves. Dictionary.com defines Colt as a young male animal of the horse family. According to The Daily Wildlife, camels are not part of the horse family.


Genesis 32:16

KJV:16 And he delivered them into the hand of his servants, every drove by themselves ; and said unto his servants, Pass over before me, and put a space betwixt drove and drove.

Genesis 32:27

KJV:27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
