Pour les oblitérations télégraphiques de Likasi et Thysville dans les années 1920, nous sommes convaincus
qu’elles ont servi comme cachet postal dans des bureaux de postes auxiliaires pour remplacer provisoirement
un matériel postal faisant défaut ; elles sont donc à considérer comme des oblitérations de fortune. C’est
pourquoi elles ont été incluses dans ce chapitre spécial et non dans l’autre partie de l’article.

On retrouve donc ces deux oblitérations facilement sur timbres-postes et sur du courrier, toujours comme
cachet oblitérant et aucun des deux n’est rare, sauf sur certains timbres-postes dont cette fois les grosses
valeurs, à l’opposé des oblitérations du reste de l’article.

For the telegraph cancellations of Likasi and Thysville in the 1920s, we are convinced that they served as
postmarks in auxiliary post offices to temporarily replace defective postal equipment; they are therefore to
be considered as “fortune” cancellations. This is why they were included in this special chapter and not in
the other part of the article.

We therefore find these two cancellations easily on postage stamps and on mail, always as a postmark and
neither of them is rare, except on some stamps of which this time the high values, opposite to the postmarks
of the rest of the article.
