ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The majority of those who may visit this website will, no doubt, be familiar with the background of the administrator and author of these Articles.  However, it is possible, considering the placement of this material, that someone may happen upon this Site and find this information informative.  This is a brief background.

The author, David Campbell, and his wife, Pat, have three  sons and one daughter, and are thankful grandparents for fifteen grandchildren.  Since 1980, David has served as a Director and bible teacher at St. Joseph Island Kee-Way-Din Christian Centre located on St. Joseph Island in Ontario, Canada. The Centre is independent and nondenominational.

From 1962 to 1980 David served in law enforcement as a police officer in the city of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada. From 1979 to 1980 he was seconded as an Instructor by the KWD Location1Province’s Police College located in Aylmer, (South/Western) Ontario.

David responded to what he (and others) believed to be a call to a more full-time Christian service in September of 1980 and resigned from the police service to continue in that call.  Opportunities to follow in a more traditional ministry within denominational training and service were declined due to the clarity of conviction not to follow that path.

The Articles will speak for themselves.  They are intended to address the interior life of the believer with the absolute certainty that victory and liberty within must precede any fruitful or successful external effort.

Truth is designed to be processed within the mind and heart so that it (the Truth) is expressed in all aspects of life.  This is the primary purpose in our existence.  Recall our Lord’s words:

    (Mark 4:24 Amplified Bible)

And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure  [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure  [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you--and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.

There is a kind of seeing and hearing that equips one for speaking (and writing); it is the author’s understanding that he has been ordained to see and hear -- and to convey what is shown.  The following scriptures have special significance in this journey.

    Exo 14:13-14 KJV

    (13)  And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.

    (14)  The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

    2Sa 23:11-12 KJV

    (11)  And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentils: and the people fled from the Philistines.

    (12)  But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.

    Pro 16:7 KJV

    (7)  When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

It is the author’s greatest desire that at the end of the journey he will be found, not correct -- but faithful.  Faithful to what he has clearly received and faithful to the One whose Voice will command all hearing on that Great Day.

May it be accurately said concerning all of us, “their ways pleased the LORD”.
