Thu Jan 02: Clowdy, wind & light rain. Ida & I called on the Ferguson's this A.M. Downtown in the P.M. paying bills. Telegram from Frank. Will be in Seattle tomorrow.
Fri Jan 03: Rainy day. Light rain. Nettie went to Seattle with Young. I took here to Whites at 7.30 A.M. She went to meet Frank. In the P.M. went to Brado's Brase(?) Trial. Sentence $650-- fine & 90 days in jail.
Sat Jan 04: Rainy last night & 1/2 to day. About 1/2 inch. Home & downtown in P.M.
Sun Jan 05: Semi pleasant but colder. Temp 26 at 9 P.M. Went to church A.M. and to Harry Ferguson's funeral in Mount Vernon at 2 P.M. Mr Williams went with me to the funeral. It was a very large funeral. A large number of Klansman present. Many from Bellingham. Frank return from Alaska last night & Nettie from Seattle.

Thu Jan 16: Temp 16. This is the longest, steadiest, coldest cold spell on record. Highest temp to day 25. The pipe along the driveway frozen ?????ed of the meter. This is the second day with out water. Dr. Cooks & Ed Knapps folks here this evening. Temp 17 at midnight.
Fri Jan 17: Temp 11 - 32 at noon. Pleasant. Donald & Dorothy came last night. downtown and played horse shoes. Got the water started via the hose from the meter box. Pipe still frozen. Got a load of mill wood & piled it.
Sat Jan 18: Temp 17 - 9 at the farm. Went to the farm & took Hilda to Mt. Vernon to see Mrs Frank Leamer who is very sick in the hospital. No prospect of warmer weather, but 38 this P.M. Frank, Nettie & Frances went to Bellingham. This eve, rainbow, &c.

Sun Mar 30: Pleasant day. Crossed on the Ferry to Wash. side of the Columbia then drove home. Passed through Ilwaco, South Bend, Raymond and back via Centralia, Tenino, Tacoma, &c.

Tue Jun 03: Pleasant. Went to Seattle to Pioneer Meeting. Took Fred Abbey and staid all night. At Bernard Moss' with Abbey. Called on the McGinnis' & went to the Fifth Ave Theater.
Wed Jun 04: Pleasant. In Seattle. Called on Mrs Wright at the hospital. Went to Pioneer Meeting in the P.M. Then home to the graduating exercises. Pearl, Carroll & Hilda also. Mr Klemme made the talk. It was first class.

Tue Nov 11: Armistice Day. Heard Pres Hoover this A.M. via Radio. In town all day.
Wed Nov 12: Semi pleasant. Rain 1/2 in last night. At home and downtown in the P.M. Wrights on the way home.
Thu Nov 13: Semi pleasant. Colder. Ida & self went to the farm. Hilda sick. Political meeting at Grants last night. Stopped at Whites for eggs at 75 cts for 2 doz.
Fri Nov 14: Clear & colder temp 28. At home A.M. In P.M. took Mr Cambell & went to Avon to the pump house for Anacortes Water Co. Wrights home this eve.
Sat Nov 15: Cool clowdy & rain in the P.M. Frank went to Seattle. Miss Judd went home. Big F ball game in Seattle. Seattle 10 Pullman 3.

Thu Dec 18: Ford oiled & greased. Mileage 9340. Clowdy & cold S.E. wind. Went to LaConner and Mt Vernon. Got car greased & oil changed and bank Certs renewed and stopped at the Ranch for lunch. Grant & Hilda have bad colds.
Fri Dec 19: Rain last night. Cool & clowdy to day. Ida out to Whites & I in the P.M. Frank in Seattle. Charity Basketball game to night. Frank in it.
Sat Dec 20: Semi pleasant. Downtown P.M. Ida also buying Christmas. Frank in Bellingham at the "Buick Opening"
Sun Dec 21: Pleasant. Went to Pres Church. Rev Thompson preached. In the P.M. both went to Bellingham with the Wrights.
Mon Dec 22: Clowdy & windy. At home A.M. went to the Ranch in P.M. Frank in Bellingham. A card from Laura told of Ada Baileys death. She was buried Dec 15th.
