Tue Dec 30: Ida no better. Pleasant N. wind. Margie here. Self went to Guemes Island in the P.M. to see Alversons Road job.
Wed Dec 31: Frost 32. Ida some better. Went to LaConner & rock crusher & worked on Road some with P. Millers. Beautiful day. Road fine to drawbridge. Thus endeth 1919.
Thu Jan 01: Frost 32°. Beautiful day. Ida out on the lounge to day. Margie here yet. Frank & Donald went to Everett to Football. Self out to Masters to get him to fix the road.
Fri Jan 02: Frost. Pleasant. At home all day nursing a cold. Ida about the same.
Sat Jan 03: Frost. Ida about the same. In town all day.
Sun Jan 04: Frost. Went to S.S. & church A.M. & P.M. Rev Powsland preached.
Mon Jan 05: Frost. Went to Mt Vernon Coms meeting. Margie here.
Tue Jan 06: Frost. In Mt Vernon & down to the farm for dinner.
Wed Jan 07: Frost 28. In Mt Vernon. Came home via stage at 6. Ida worse with lumbago. Margie here.
Thu Jan 08: Frost. Went to Dewey & Whitney. Saw the drainage pump & the took it to the Ridge with the county catapillar. Road to drawbridge good. Ida in bed.
Fri Jan 09: Misty. At home in the A.M. went to Whitney in the P.M. Ida still in bed.
Sat Jan 10: Cool & clowdy. In town. Elsie W Fenios? baby died.
Sun Jan 11: Clowdy but no rain. Went to S.s. & church in the A.M. Mr & Mrs Powsland called. Earnest Templar died.
Mon Jan 12: Pleasant. Margie here. In town all day.
Tue Jan 13: Mrs Young here. Pleasant. Templar buried. Went to the funeral. Margie here till 2 P.M. Mrs Wilson & Mrs Jones called.
