Working on his new house plan.
E.A. begins making cedar shingles for his new house on April 17th. He had about 7850 made by Apr 30.
On May 12th, he has made about 11,000 shingles.
E.A.'s only son, Grant (1885-1956) was born on June 21st.
Began working on new house. He received windows and doors and other hardware at beginning of July.
Finishing trimming new house and began painting.
E.A. writes on October 27th: "I am 36 years old today and is it a cloudy rainy day."
