Discussion of previously collected resistivity data at Lockshaw Ranch - see Lockshaw Ranch Field Site Page. There are linked articles there to summarize about hardrock aquifers. The papers that are linked about the general history of the Salinian Block itself are just for reference if you are interested.
Making a "CMD" file for the SuperStingR8 with EarthImager2D (or EarthImager3D if making a 3D survey). A "CMD", or command file, is uploaded to the SuperSting via a laptop to tell it what kind of survey to collect, e.g. a dipole-dipole with 56 electrodes, etc.
Important: When making a 2D CMD file, leave the "electrode spacing" part alone - keep it at the default "1 meter". This parameter gets adjusted in the field, which allows you to use the same command file (survey style and number of electrodes) with an arbitrary spacing.

Continue discussion of Lockshaw Ranch - look at well drilling reports of CPW1 and CPW2. Also look at drilling reports from adjacent properties. Can we gain any insight into how to select groundwater well locations.
