Plex is like a streaming service but hosted by your friend. It lets you watch movies, TV shows, and more from your friend's personal media library on any device. It's a great way to enjoy content without the hassle of managing your own collection!

Is Plex Legal?

Yes, Plex is legal! It’s a legit company that provides a platform for you to stream your friend's media collection like a private streaming service. Neither the company nor their service is illegal, so you can watch without worry.

Where is Plex Available?

Plex is available globally and works on most devices, including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, computers, and streaming devices like Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and Xbox. There’s an app for each of these platforms, so you can access it virtually anywhere with an internet connection!

1. Getting Started! Go to Plex.tv

2. Click on Sign Up

3. Sign up using one of the methods provided

4. Once your account is created, Go to app.plex.tv

5. Click on the settings icon located in the top right

6. Within settings, Click on Manage Library Access

7. If you have been invited to someone's server, you can accept the invite by clicking the check mark

8. Next, Refresh your browser page, then click the home icon in the top left

9. From home, select 'More'

10. Under 'Pinned,' select 'Pin' on the following libraries: Movies, TV Shows

11. Pin "Movies" and "TV Shows"

12. For the rest of the categories, Unpin the following: Discover, Live TV, Movies & Shows, Music, Watchlist

13. Click on Home, Your menu should now look like the image below

14. You are now good to go and start streaming any movies and TV shows you want!

• Mobile Playback Fee: There's a one-time fee of $5 for unlocking mobile playback.
• Account Sharing: Please don’t share your account. If you have friends interested in joining, let me know, and I'll send them an invitation.

• Reporting Issues: If you encounter any issues, please report them so they can be addressed promptly.
• Best Experience with Plex: For the best experience with Plex, follow the instructions provided for each platform or device.
• Platform Improvements & Downtime: I’m an independent streaming service provider and always working on improvements. Occasionally, there may be downtime for upgrades, but this helps enhance the platform and provide a top-tier experience.
• Patience & Library Quality: As a one-person team, my resources and turnaround time aren’t like regular streaming services, so please be patient. But hey, I still have the best library! 😉
