3. System Requirements
------------------------

   The software package must be installed on system with supported HighPoint
   RocketStor installed, and the device driver must be loaded to run
   the service.
   
   A web browser with XML support is required on the client side, e.g. Internet
   Explorer 6.0, Mozilla or FireFox.


4. Installing the Software Package
------------------------------------

   To install the packge, run "HighPoint RocketStor Manager.exe".
   
5. Running the Management Software
------------------------------------

   a. Run WebGUI
       To run the WebGUI, start your browser and enter the following URL address:
   
          http://localhost:7404
       
       If you are accessing WebGUI on a remote system please change "localhost"
       to the server address.
 
       If you can't connect to a remote HPT WebGUI, check if hptsvr is running on that
       system and you can access the remote system via TCP/IP connection. If you
       have firewall configured, make sure TCP port 7404 is not blocked.

   b. Run CLI
       To run CLI, in the start menu under the folder "HighPoint RocketStor Manager", 
       click "HighPoint RocketStor Command Line". Or start your cmd terminal and input the command:
                hptraidconf 
       
       And you can enter a complete command with parameters at the cmd prompt and receive
       one output result on the screen at a time.
                hptraidconf -u {username} -p {password} {command}
       Example:
                #hptraidconf -u RAID -p hpt query controllers 

   c. Run Notification
       To run CLI, in the start menu under the folder "HighPoint RocketStor Manager", 
       click "HighPoint RocketStor Notification". Or start your cmd terminal and input the command:
                rstray.exe

    * Hot plugged Critical RAID with offline member disk is not reported to OS by default (Driver needs to support this feature).
      The critical RAID can be changed to Online by click OnLine button in WebGUI.  
      The option can be turn off in WebGUI setting page (which is called  "Report Critical RAID to OS").
