Updating EFI BIOS
==================

    You can install the EFI BIOS to RR4522 adapter via its web management
    interface.

Booting MacOS X from RR4522 adapter
=====================================

Currently MacOS X can not be directly installed to arrays on RocketRAID adapter.
To boot the system from an array, you need to clone an installed system to the
array.

You can follow these steps to make a bootable array on Mac Pro:

    1) Booting from an existing MacOS X system.

    2) Install RocketRAID adapter driver and web RAID management software.

    3) Setup an array in the web management interface.

    4) Run MacOS X Disk Utility and create a new volume on the array. The volume
       will be used as new boot volume.

    5) Clone the Mac OS X system volume to the new volume on HPT array.
       A suggested clone utility is Carbon Copy Cloner:

    6) Open MacOS X System Preferences window and select "Startup Disk". Select
       the new volume as startup disk and click "Restart".

    7) MacOS X will boot from the array. You can remove the old system volume
       if it is no longer required.
