Email
Traditional
e-mail method. This is the slowest electronic form, as it takes a while
to get responses back and forth to each other.
Text
Want
a more immediate response, you can text me on my cell phone.
Chat
The chat area is setup
for real time (typed) converstions over the internet. Good for dialup and
DSL connections when we need to have a real time back and forth. I will
need to be logged in to the same chat room for a conversation to take place.
This means that a chat is already taking place with someone else, and you
can join in, or a set time for you and I to get together must be established.
It can be set to private or conference.
IP Phone
Using
this way allows us to communicate in real time, toll free using voice and
video technology over the internet. Requirements are, (1) you must be on
a high speed connection, such as with your cable company or a dedicated
T#, (2) have a web cam connected to your pc, and (3) have any
of the many devices that interface with your pc in order to allow you to
speak.
