     Largest Attendence: (1973-1989)

'Summer Jam' Grand Prix Racecourse, Watkins Glen, N.Y.
        July 28, 1973 600,000 in attendence.

     Largest Mobile Sound System: (1974-87)

'Wall Of Sound' 600 speakers, 48 2,300 power amps, 26,00 watts
RMS, 25 tons. The most unusual aspect of the system, besides
its impressive bulk, was that each musician had his own
sonically independent system, so no two sounds went through the
same speaker, which effectively wiped out any distortion. Also,
the whole 50-foot high rig was set up behind the players,
removing the need for a seperate monitor system and giving the
band a clear idea of what was going out to the audience.

Most Nights Sold Out on Broadway in the least amount of time.
     (1987-??)
When tickets for Jerry at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater on
Broadway, New York, N.Y. went on sale they sold out 18 shows in
       15 minutes.

     Dead Notables:

Most Released Live Recordings second only to Frank Zappa

Second band to incoperate ear-piece monitor system eliminating
       traditional monitor system hangups.
       1st was Herby Hancock

First Rock Band to have midi capability with all musicians, in fact
it added another member as midi tech that interacts during the
show. Why is Phil (Bassist) playing that flute???

One of the first bands to use CAD design for acoustic setup in
       various venues.
