Style Selector MOD v0.94b - Setup Instructions

Style Selector MOD v0.94b for Snitz Forums 3.4.02

I STRONGLY suggest you backup your forum database and files in case it screws up

Step 1
Upload the following files from the zip to your forum directory:-
dbs_stylemod.asp
stylesetup.asp
admin_config_style.asp
pop_preview_stylea.asp
pop_preview_stylem.asp
admin_config_colors.asp (overwrite the old file)
pop_color.asp
icon_color.gif (upload to your image directory if you specified one, or your forum root if you havnt)

Step 2
Run dbs_stylemod.asp through the MOD parser in the admin section to add the tables and records
Its entry in the dropdown list will be "Style Changer MOD 0.92b for Snitz 3.4 compatable"
You can then delete the dbs file

Step 3
Run stylesetup.asp to fill the tables and delete redundant values
You can then delete it

Step 4
Add the following code to inc_func_admin.asp just before the last %> in the file

Step 5
Find the following line in admin_home.asp

and replace it with

Step 6
Search for this line in inc_profile.asp

and paste this above the second instance of it

Find both instances of this in pop_profile.asp

and put this below both of them

Paste this after the second instance only...

And paste this after the third instance only

And delete everything between them inclusive, so these 2 lines should end up next to each other

Find this in admin_config_system.asp and delete it

You now need to add the following to inc_iconfiles.asp

If you havnt already done this, you will need to create a seperate directory in your forum
You can call it what you want, but I suggest "default" so that your images will be somwhere like this...

You should then move all your images into this directory

Step 25
Edit your old inc_iconfiles.asp file, you must remove all the "Const " items from it
The easiest way to do this is to use a Search and Replace function, search for "Const " and replace it with "" (nothing)
Move the inc_iconfiles.asp you have just edited to the images directory you created in the previous step (not the forum root)
You need each iconset to have its own copy of this

Step 26
Upload the inc_iconfiles.asp from the zip to your forum root (not the images directory), please read the comments in the header of the file

Step 27
Open the inc_iconfiles.asp you just uploaded and read all the comments in the file, make any changes that are nececary

Step 28
Then you should go to this URL
http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/admin_home.asp (you may need to log in)
Click the "Style Configuration" link
Click the edit link next to the "Default" style
And change the "Images Location" to the location you have stored your images, which in this example is default/
And finaly, click Submit New Config

That should be it, at least I hope so, I STRONGLY suggest you backup your forum database and files in case it screws up
