I've known William (billy) Valentin since he entered into the apprenticeship and immediately took a liking to him. His curiosity and ability to learn is inspiring, all the years i've known him he has been a go getter and a hard worker, Always wanting to learn something new whether it was in the shop or the field. I feel he is a good candidate for the position of business Agent as he loves and cares about our Union and its future, and is Willing to go the extra mile to get what needs to be done for the betterment of our Union ... I absolutely support him in his endeavor.

I have known William “Billy” Valentin for close to 30 years. He worked with us in Skyline shop, first as a laborer, then a Truck driver, until he finally got the call to become a local 28 sheet metal worker. I will always remember how proud he was that day. I have to say it has been a privilege working next to Billy all of these years. He’s dedication to his work and his union are unmatched. Billy has always put 100% effort into everything he does. From working on the job site with fellow local 28 mechanics and apprentices, to coordinating his work with the other trades, he always put forth the effort to get the job done, efficiently and safely. His wide diversification in the business world makes him an excellent candidate for the position of business agent. When this city was faced with terrible pandemic Billy turned his distillery into a hand sanitizing factory and supplied hundreds of police, firefighters, teachers and construction workers with much needed supplies to keep themselves and their families safe. When Puerto Rico was devastated due to hurricane Irma, Billy spent several weeks in Puerto Rico helping people rebuild their homes. He is always there to help.When you get in the box, make the right decision for your future,

Billy came to work as a truck driver and was good at it and also became interested in what we do, we stressed how important our union was to us and I'm sure he took it all in and became a good sheet metal man. All I can say is retirement is great 18 yrs livin the dream in coastal Carolina Vote for Billy "always has a smile on his face"

William has been an avid supporter of the Latino cause, both within its union and beyond. William has helped support the FDNY Hispanic Society in our efforts to provide care and relief to Puerto Rico after the devastating effects of hurricane Maria. In addition to graciously opening his venue for Puerto Rican focused fundraisers, William also provides housing to relief workers who travel to Puerto Rico in an effort support and rebuild hard hit communities. William is a selfless individual who uses his voice, business, and personal assets to support Puerto Rico. Vote for William, you won’t be let down!
